2014 in review

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2014 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

A San Francisco cable car holds 60 people. This blog was viewed about 390 times in 2014. If it were a cable car, it would take about 7 trips to carry that many people.

  1. Congratulations. Good stats. You’ve obviously learned not to let the computer rule your life. An extra couple of posts a year could make a huge difference to you though.
    Happy New Year.

    • Thank you very much, Sir!! With you and Seumas, Cate and Jane as mentors, I’ll sort out the balance between work, novels, blogging, and family… It’s a roller coaster, but a heck of a ride! Love it!

      • It’s very much a roller coaster. A p[age dedicated to your new book would be good where people can get updates on progress etc. Isn’t it due this month? Somewhere we can go to to start tweeting bout the book and spreading the name, the cover etc.

  2. Thank you so much! That would be wonderful… I’ve got to get back to my bogging schedule. I’m a terrible juggler and sometimes I have way too many balls in the air! Apologies for the late reply… Doing battle with the Creeping Crud of Doom and a cough that I’m going to take a hammer to if it doesn’t go away (been four weeks now…sigh). Book two has been delayed a bit, but in the meantime, our group of authors here in California will be putting out an anthology in May. All the proceeds will be going to the San Jose Public Library system. It feels good to help and do something that may get a kid into reading! It will be called Twelve Hours Later, and every story will take place in one hour until we have twenty four of them (twelve paired stories – I get 6:00 am and 6:00 pm.). I need to get a blurp up on my website for it, and a blog post as well…but I’m really looking forward to seeing it come together. It’s my first group author project!
